We have passed the 100 articles mark! Templates now exist for Books, OCCs, Weapons, and Vehicles, so please feel free to add new topics!

Please, please, please, if you are going to add new O.C.C.s, USE THE TEMPLATE! Adding a paragraph as a new O.C.C. article just means more work for the next guy!

And on a related note: DO NOT POST RPG RULE INFO. This means skill bonuses, stats, experience charts, MDC ratings, or even textual modifiers from an O.C.C. We are trying to adhere to Palladium's Internet Policy, and the more of this that gets added, the less likely they are to want us to continue. I have edited out everything I have found so far, but please try to keep the Wiki clear of them.

I've been considering adding a page for all of Palladium Press Releases, but I'm not sure how many I have kept, or how long they remain available on Palladium's Web site. What do you think? Let me know. I may end up creating one anyway, just going forward, but if I can get a listing of all of Palladium's Press Releases from their site, it would make it a lot easier. E-mailing them now...

Happy Holidays, D-Bees!

Wow, I had forgot about this blog! Sorry!

We have over 90 articles on the Rifts Wiki now. I have gone through and categorized much of the information, and began created templates for most common tasks. There is still a lot of stuff to do, and most of the pages are still stubs. Useful, outlined stubs, but still...

Anyway. A month of so back I found out Palladium had closed my request ticket for permission without responding, so I e-mailed them and it was re-opened. I still have not received permission to put anything specific on the Wiki. Hopefully they will allow us to use images from the books for items, classes and races, and some small excerpts, but for right now, I'm trying to keep everything as Fair Use. We will see how that comes out. I'm delaying posting anything to the Forums of the Megaverse until I have received permission, or at least a non-negative response.

Last week I received WebRing alerts for all of the WebRings that the Wiki had joined. The page can no longer pass validation. I submitted support tickets to Wikia and WebRing, and neither really have a good way of knowing why this happened, or how to fix it. After about 12 hours of screwing with the HTML coding, I gave up. If it becomes viable in the future, I am more than willing to fix it, but for now our WebRings are broken and only link to the Hub for each ring. And we are no longer listed in those rings. Ah, well, at least we are getting others to the fan sites, right? Bueller?

Oh well. I will try to keep this blog better updated, but if you have any questions about the Wiki, or suggestions on what to add next, please let me know!

40 Topics

We reached 40 topics in the Wiki today! A milestone of some sort, I suppose.

I did contact Palladium by e-mail requesting permission to start the Wiki, and to use some images of their choice. I havn't heard anything yet, so I limited the images to those currently available on the Palladium web site, which consists mostly of book covers. Hopefully I will hear back soon. I'd really like to add images of the OCCs, equipment, etc, but we'll see what they allow us to use.

Note: I am limiting what is available to be posted on the Wiki to non-game rule information only, so only "setting meta-data" is allowed. This means you can create a entry on the Putman Stun Gun, for example, and describe it and its effects, how much it costs, etc, but you can NOT tell how much damage it does, or what the rules for its stun are. If we get permission, we'd add an image of the weapon to its page as well.
